Infla10® Pulse™ Series Device Support

The Infla10® Pulse™ Series Inflatable Penile Prosthesis is intended for use in the treatment of male erectile dysfunction (impotence) when other treatments have failed or are not suitable for the patient. This is typically considered after other treatment options such as oral medications, vacuum devices, or injections have proven ineffective or are not tolerated.6,7
Men with diabetes, spinal cord injuries or skin infections may have an increased risk of infection. Implantation may result in penile curvature or scarring.
Potential risks may include: device malfunction/failure leading to additional surgery, device migration potentially leading to exposure through the tissue, wearing away/loss of tissue (device/tissue erosion), infection, unintended-inflation of the device and pain/soreness.
Understanding Your Implant
The Infla10® Pulse™ Series Inflatable Penile Prosthesis is discreetly contained entirely inside the body, including a pair of cylinders implanted in the penis, a pump placed inside the scrotum, and a saline-filled reservoir placed in the lower abdomen. The implant works by squeezing and releasing the pump to move fluid into the cylinders, which creates an erection.
The Dynamic Inflatable Penile Prosthesis (DIPP) is Rigicon's proprietary term for their advanced penile prosthesis technology, offering significant advancements over traditional inflatable penile prostheses. Designed to enhance both function and comfort, DIPP aims to provide a more natural and satisfying experience for users.5
How to Use Your Penile Implant
To Inflate Your Prosthesis:
- Grab the rectangular block above the pump bulb with one hand.
- Using the other hand, press and release the pump bulb firmly.
- Continue pressing and releasing the pump bulb until a satisfactory erection is achieved and the pump bulb is firm to squeeze.
To Deflate Your Prosthesis:
- Grab the rectangular block above the pump bulb with one hand.
- Using the other hand, place your thumb and forefinger on opposite sides of the deflation button.
- Squeeze the deflation button for about two seconds, then release it.
- Your penis will return to its flaccid state.
Your Implant in Action
When inflated, your penis will be firm and rigid like a natural erection which will last as long as you desire.1
In most patients, the implant does not interfere with ejaculation or orgasm. However, some patients, particularly those with a history of diabetes or prostate surgery, may experience changes in ejaculatory function.3,4
Your implant is designed to provide a natural, flaccid appearance when deflated.5

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my penis look different to me or will others notice?
The Infla10® Pulse™ Series is designed to provide a natural appearance in both the flaccid and erect states. When not inflated, your penis will appear natural, and others will not notice you have an implant during normal activities.
Will I lose sensitivity or the ability to orgasm?
The implant does not affect the nerves responsible for sensation or orgasm. Most men report maintaining normal sensation, ejaculation, and orgasm after recovery from surgery.3,4 However, if you have other conditions such as diabetes or have had prostate surgery, you may experience some changes in ejaculatory function.
How long will my implant last?
The Infla10® Pulse™ Series is engineered for durability and longevity. While individual results may vary, the device is designed to provide many years of reliable function.5 As with any medical device, mechanical failure can occur over time, potentially requiring revision surgery.
How soon after surgery can I begin using my implant?
Your doctor will provide specific instructions, but typically patients wait 4-6 weeks after surgery before beginning to use their implant. Following your doctor's recovery guidelines is essential for optimal results.
Will the implant affect urination?
No. The implant is designed to not interfere with normal urination. You should be able to urinate normally with the device in either the inflated or deflated state.
Is the device MRI compatible?
The Infla10® Pulse™ Series is MRI conditional up to 3 Tesla. Please inform your healthcare provider about your implant before undergoing any MRI procedure, and always carry your Patient Identification Card which contains specific MRI safety information.
How long does it take to inflate and deflate the device?
The inflation process typically takes 8-12 pump cycles and about 30-60 seconds to achieve a full erection. Deflation usually occurs within seconds after pressing the deflation button.
Will the implant cause pain during erection?
Most patients report little to no pain during normal operation of the device after the recovery period. If you experience persistent pain, contact your healthcare provider.
