Abstract Short Summary

Shaeer’s Punch Technique enables minimally invasive removal of Peyronie’s plaques during penile prosthesis implantation. Compared to traditional methods, it shortens surgery time and reduces complications. Study includes Rigicon penile implants.

Abstract

Objective:

To evaluate the safety, efficacy, and outcomes of trans-corporeal plaque debulking using Shaeer’s Punch Technique in combination with penile prosthesis implantation.

Key Findings:

The Punch group had complete curvature correction with no neurovascular or urethral injuries and a significantly shorter surgery time. Postoperative sensitivity was preserved in all cases, with lower infection rates and higher satisfaction with penile length than the excision-grafting group.

Conclusion:

Shaeer’s Punch Technique offers a safer, quicker, and less invasive alternative to conventional plaque excision methods in patients undergoing penile prosthesis implantation for Peyronie’s disease.

Clinical Relevance:

This technique reduces surgical time, preserves penile sensitivity, and minimizes complication risks, offering a viable approach for complex Peyronie’s cases requiring prosthesis.
