Abstract Short Summary

This review explores the enhanced Rigicon Infla10® inflatable penile prosthesis, now defined as the Dynamic Inflatable Penile Prosthesis (DIPP). It highlights technological improvements in pump design, cylinder structure, and reservoir system for better performance, durability, and patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Objective:

To review and describe the technological advancements of the enhanced Rigicon Infla10®, newly defined as the Dynamic Inflatable Penile Prosthesis (DIPP), and compare its performance and clinical advantages to existing inflatable penile prostheses.

Key Findings:

The DIPP offers superior girth expansion (up to 24mm), a redesigned PulseTM pump for easier inflation, and a durable four-layer cylinder design with proprietary silicone for better longevity. The Adaptive® reservoir minimizes risk of auto-inflation and improves concealability. These features collectively position the DIPP as a next-generation IPP with notable improvements over traditional implants.

Conclusion:

The Rigicon Infla10® DIPP represents a significant advancement in penile prosthesis technology. With enhanced features across all components, it provides a more natural experience and improved durability. Long-term clinical follow-up is necessary to further validate its benefits.

Clinical Relevance:

This review supports the DIPP as a promising alternative for ED patients seeking penile implant surgery, offering enhanced cosmetic outcomes, better girth, easier usability, and potentially lower revision rates.
